Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Tactido application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Tactido is a personal time tracking and daily activity logging application. The App allows you to:

Track time spent on various activities
Log notes and photos alongside activities
View daily timelines and calendar overviews
Export your data in JSON format

The App is designed for personal use. Core activity data is stored locally on your device; optional account, subscription, backup and diagnostic services are described in our Privacy Policy.

3. User Accounts

No sign-up is required to start using the core app. When the account feature is available, Tactido may create a technical anonymous identifier for session and subscription mapping. You may also choose to sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and password. Account data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; it is not a public profile.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Tactido is free to use, with no limits on its core features (timer, timeline, activities, notes). An optional Power User auto-renewable subscription unlocks four additional features:

Clock Timeline — a 24-hour clock view of your day
Activity filtering in the calendar history
Timeline history charts
Yearly summary view (view and share)

All other features — including unlimited activities, data export, Live Activities (iOS) and the Floating Widget (Android) — are available for free. New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial with full access.

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase; subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings

Purchases are sold and processed by Apple or Google, and refunds and cancellations are handled under their policies. Where mandatory consumer law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period (for example, a 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU, EEA and UK), that right applies and can be exercised through the app store you purchased from. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

Deleting an app account does not itself cancel an active store subscription. Manage or cancel a subscription through the relevant Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Not use the App to store illegal or harmful content
Maintain the security of your device and any backups you create
Confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian (the digital-consent age under the GDPR and Polish law)

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You can use the account-deletion page if you cannot access the in-app controls

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or reliability of any information

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data
Loss of profits
Business interruption
Personal injury

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Data Loss

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We recommend regularly exporting your data using the built-in export feature.

We are not liable for any data loss resulting from:

Device failure or theft
App uninstallation
Operating system updates
User error

11. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through:

In-app notification
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the App or other users.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.

15. Special Provisions

15.1. Minors

The App is available to users of all ages. If you are under 16, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the App. This reflects the digital-consent age under the GDPR and Polish law.

15.2. Medical Disclaimer

The App is not intended to provide medical or health advice. Time tracking data should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment decisions.
