Delete your account and data
Tactido's core activity data is stored on your device. If you use the optional account feature, you can delete the app account in Tactido. This page also gives you a way to request help when you cannot access the app.
Deleting an app account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel that subscription in the relevant store account settings.
Delete in the app
The account row is at the top of Settings. What it says depends on whether you are signed in, and both cases lead to a deletion control.
If you are signed in
- Open Settings.
- Tap the account row. It reads Signed in as, with your name or email address below it.
- In the sheet that opens, select Delete account and confirm.
If you have not signed in
- Open Settings.
- Tap the account row. It reads Not signed in.
- Select Delete guest account and data and confirm.
Deleting the account also removes the Tactido data stored on that device, and the Tactido backup in Google Drive or iCloud. If a backup or some local data cannot be removed, Tactido says so instead of reporting success, and you can finish the job yourself — in the storage provider, or with Clear App Data in Settings.
You can also remove the app from your device. That deletes the local data, but it does not delete an app account you created.
Request help if you cannot access the app
Send an email to support@tactido.com with the subject Tactido account deletion request. We will confirm what information is needed to verify the request and identify the relevant account or data.
To protect you, do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card details or private screenshots. If you have one, include the email address or sign-in provider associated with the account and the platform you use (Apple or Android).
What the request covers
After verification, we will process the deletion request for the applicable Tactido app account and related Tactido-controlled account data. We will explain any data that cannot be erased immediately because of a legal, security or accounting obligation.
Cloud backups are controlled by the selected backup provider. We will explain the available deletion steps for the backup used with your account. Local activity data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app.
If you sign in with Apple with your email hidden, the account may be identified only by an Apple Private Relay address (@privaterelay.appleid.com). Write to us from that address, or simply tell us which sign-in provider you use — an ordinary email address is not required. We respond to inquiries within 30 business days.
